Paramount Manager, Licensing Preschool Franchises in New York, New York
Overview
Our ideal candidate will manage existing licensed partnerships to ensure the successful development, launch of product, and retail maximization for our Preschool Franchises. They will develop quarterly revenue estimates & budgets, negotiate & implement deals with new or renewing licensees, and manage & improve existing account base. They will also analyze retail placement, identify new opportunities for growth either via new product categories or distribution channels, lead all aspects of contractual process and rights, assist with forecasting, develop and facilitate quarterly business updates, conduct bi-weekly meetings with all licensees, and provide ongoing updates both internally and externally.

Responsibilities
Provide support, information and materials for licensees in order to increase development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products
Assist with forecast analysis by quarter and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Work closely with the following departments: CP LOBs, Franchise, Press, Global Creative Group, Finance, Operations, Standards, and Legal to ensure the best possible support for all Preschool franchises
Work closely with Retail Development teams to ensure licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and are actively pitching products for all key seasons throughout the year
Identify potential licensing opportunities by conducting market research, competitor analysis and staying abreast of industry trends
Assist in new business pitch presentations
Daily communication with Global Creative Group to manage all product approvals and any rush requests
Provide access to exclusive artwork on an as needed basis
Assist with development of plans and strategies to grow business and yearly revenue by managing existing partnerships and outreach to secure new business
Analyze and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth across new product categories and retailers
New licensee set up including Deal Memo set up, D&B health checks, and Creative 101s
Basic Qualifications
5+ years in an applicable licensing/marketing sales role
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience managing diverse projects and assignments
Additional Qualifications
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong time management skills and organization
Strong knowledge of the retail landscape preferred
Goal setter to meet department objectives and develops operational plans and processes
Leader as well as great teammate
Leads or contributes to complex projects and develops solutions

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 100,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
