Citigroup Alumni and IDP Project Manager - AVP (Hybrid) in New York, New York
The Alumni and IDP Project Manager is a pivotal role within the Talent Programs team, responsible for designing and operating programmatic alumni activities for leaders who have completed various talent development programs. This role is also responsible for processes supporting individual development planning (IDP) for each participant across all talent programs, ensuring their continuous growth and success during and beyond the respective talent programs they participate in.
Responsibilities:
Across all talent programs, develop and execute comprehensive strategies for engaging and supporting program alumni, fostering a sense of community, and facilitating ongoing learning and development opportunities
Plan and coordinate alumni events, workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities to facilitate knowledge sharing, skill building, and relationship building among alumni participants
Maintain alumni databases, tracking participant progress, achievements, and feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness and relevance, as well as support overall reporting on talent programs’ longitudinal outcomes
For all talent programs, design, implement, and oversee individual development planning processes for program participants, including goal setting, skill development, and career advancement initiatives
Collaborate closely with program participants, program managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations, providing processes that enable personalized support and guidance
Partner with internal and external resources to provide access to learning resources, as well as exposure and experience opportunities throughout the program participant to alumni lifecycle
For talent that is currently not on programs, design and deploy ongoing development activities and processes that provide individualized support and IDP guidance
Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to talent development and alumni engagement, incorporating insights into program design and delivery
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CPLP, APTD, etc.) preferred
5+ years proven experience in project management, talent development, or related fields, preferably within the financial services industry or a similarly complex organization
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple geographies and functions
Strong budget management skills, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and optimizing resources
Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence others, and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and levels of the organization
Resourceful problem solver with a proactive and outcomes-oriented mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change
Genuine passion for helping others succeed, with a deep commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive culture
