[Langan has an immediate opening for aHazardous Building Materials Professionalspecializing in asbestos, lead based paint and PCB work based out of ourNew Haven, CToffice. As the successful candidate, you will have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude with experience in performing hazardous building materials surveys and abatement monitoring, including but not limited to asbestos, lead, PCBs, universal waste, and mold. Job Responsibilities

[The primary responsibilities of the position will be:]{verdana=""}

  • To assist with the completion of hazardous/regulated building material inspections;
  • Provide project monitoring during HBM abatement activities and collect the appropriate clearance sampling (Onsite reading of samples will not be required);
  • Assist with IAQ and PCB assessments;
  • Work periodic overtime and/or outside of normal business hours to complete the project;
  • Coordinate with laboratories and contractors;
  • Assist with report writing and developing project scopes of work;
  • Report directly to the HBM Practice Lead in New England;
