Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Multiple Locations, United States

The Microsoft Unified Security Intelligence team's mission is to collect, curate, share, and manage the most complete source of threat intelligence on the planet. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with experience in working with a diverse set of security practitioners, working with engineering teams to deliver capabilities in the ever-changing world of cybersecurity, and articulating complex concepts in writing to a diverse set of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create successful partnerships with both our own engineering teams and engineering teams across Microsoft Security to ensure threat intelligence is made available to every practitioner in the right place at the right time.

  • Partner closely with cleared SRE teams to successfully deliver Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence solutions to restricted clouds.

  • Work with stakeholders across Microsoft Security to successfully create a shared roadmap with clear milestones, track execution, help unblock issues and ensure successful completion of deliverables on time.

  • Educate and provide mentorship to other product managers, alongside the management team.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product and service or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Flair for cross-org collaboration across large internationally distributed teams, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with customers & stakeholders.

  • Understanding of the current cybersecurity market, with focus on intelligence providers, intel analyst tools, etc.

  • Be able to energize and influence, drive clarity of goals and deliver continuous impact to the team.

  • Experience in launching v0.1/v1 products in the cybersecurity market.

  • Understand the different roles within a security organization and the ability to easily articulate what maturity looks like across those functions.

  • Experience in defining and executing on product vision and strategy.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
