This is a job for a Amphibious Mission System Support- Engineering position with a company located in Moss Point, MS.

Responsibilities This position includes: Provide program technical support to the HM&E Assistant Program Manager (APM) with extensive military ship systems familiarization, and Amphibious Mission Systems and Amphibious Operations. Interface with the System Engineering Manager and Subject Matter Expert on assigned Mission Systems. Responsible for various HM&E technical evaluation efforts related to Well Deck, Flight Deck and Vehicle Deck operations. Responsible for various HM&E technical evaluation efforts related to boat davits, cranes, ordnance stowage and handling, cargo handling, and small boat operations assigned by the Program Office HM&E APM. Acts as Senior Engineer and Test Lead responsible as a witness for Government testing on shipboard Deck systems, Elevators, and various other systems as required by the government customers.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates: 15+ years' experience in providing engineering and testing support.

Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates: Experience with DoD/Navy ACAT I Program. 15+ years relevant experience in providing engineering support for Amphibious Mission systems and operations, HM&E systems to U.S Navy shipbuilding Program Office(s)/ operational ships.
