Vontier Sales Manager NA East, e-Mobility in Montgomery, Alabama

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our E-Mobility team at GVR, focusing on the North American Eastern region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market share in the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the e-mobility industry, and the ability to lead a team to success. We are fast paced and team oriented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Be solution orientated in your approach in solving customer desires.

  • Conduct regional market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of products and services to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategy and promotional campaigns.

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing director, preferably in the e-mobility or related industry.

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.

  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.

  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.

The base compensation range for this position is $102,000-$136,000, per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
