The Senior Software Engineer – Automated Testing for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing well-designed testing code using best practices for web development accordance with software requirements.

This position is part of the Software Development located in Chaska and will be on-site three days per week. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Create and support, using your strong software development skills, an automated software testing framework for the product software, focusing on easy development of test cases and seamless integration into automated builds.

• Participate in product software and test design and code inspections (with a strong voice to ensure automated testability is considered and proper unit testing has been accomplished)

• Analyze requirements and implementation details to design, write and execute software test protocols.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent

• 5+ years’ experience in software lifecycle activities

• 3+ years’ experience in software testing (or software development), including design, development and execution of test plans and procedures.

• Experience maintaining, expanding, or building an automated test framework for a complex software product.

• Experience writing (test, tools or product) software using an object oriented programming languages like C++, C# or Java

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Develop automation tests on web applications or web service.

• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries like React.

• Experience with database management.
