Quality Inspector

7am - 3:30pm - M-F

Overview

This company is a sheet metal shop that has been in business for a very long time. About 50 employees on the floor. Typical manufacturing environment.

They preform stamping for Crenlo, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and more.

Day to Day:

• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards

• Working with hydraulic parts using various blueprints

• Utilize inspection tools and equipment to ensure precision and accuracy

• Collaborate with production teams to address and rectify any identified quality issues

• Perform and oversee equipment and tool calibration activities to maintain accuracy and reliability

• Coordinate and conduct first-article inspections to validate manufacturing processes

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T symbols and annotations.

• Documentation of products and finding

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CMM

• Experience with manufacturing processes: CNC machining, metal casting, injection molding

• Be able to do documentation work and comfortable with computers
