Design a well-integrated data architecture that meets present and future business needs. Analyze information flow and recommend appropriate technological solutions within the context of business goals. Perform data analysis activities to capture data requirements clearly, completely, and correctly, and represent them through a logical data model. Assist in development efforts, making sure that the business rules are implemented correctly and clarify issues as they arise. Consulting: Serve as the liaison between business users and the technical teams. Coordinate with clients, data users and key stakeholders to develop and achieve long term objectives for data architecture and data quality. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to provide procedural and technical guidance to teammates. Standards: Collaborate with other IT data teams to define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models. Work with the Enterprise Data Management & Reporting (EDMR) to develop standards for the naming, description, governance, management, modeling, storing, cleansing, and transformation of data. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience OR a comparable combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledgeable in metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin, ER Studio, etc.). PeopleSoft ERP Experience (Campus Solutions, Finance, HRMS) Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Higher Education Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience working in an Agile environment and working directly with a development team. Experience with Microsoft Azure platform. Experience with Databricks platform.
