There's a Desktop Support Technician opportunity available in Downtown Minneapolis, MN. This will be 100% on-site and you'll be helping assist with the company's Windows 11 Migration. This project is estimated to be about 1 year, but could get extended out or brought onto other projects in the future.

Description:

You will be assisting in the client's Windows 11 Deployment. You will be assisting in the set up of all employees new PC's and application deployment on these PC's. You will be troubleshooting problems and assisting in any hands on support that is needed. You will mainly be following a script for set up of these PC's and will not have to have the migration knowledge as some employees will have. You will have the opportunity to grow their skill level within this project and have the possibilities to be extended out for future projects.

Top Skills' Details

• Windows and imaging hardware experience is a must have.

• Will be supporting major windows 10 - windows 11 migration project of 7.5-10k devices.

• Working with end users by calling them to remote in on specific applications and refresh devices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Working with end users - calling them directly and scheduling time to perform device refresh/support

• Needs to be customer service oriented, end users could be difficult to get ahold of at times

• Migration project experience - inventory management, project management
