Robert Half is seeking a Buyer to join our client’s team in the North Metro area. This position will play a pivotal role in the procurement process, focusing on acquiring commodity items, raw materials, operational supplies, and essential services crucial to sustaining operational efficiency and meeting business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure commodity items, raw materials, operational supplies, and services to meet business needs.

• Confirm and expedite purchase orders as required, while resolving invoice discrepancies.

• Monitor purchase order action messages daily to uphold appropriate inventory levels.

• Participate in achieving Supply Chain goals, focusing on cost reduction and enhanced spend.

• Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on various criteria including quality, cost, delivery, and services.

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotes, demonstrating basic contract management skills.

• Understand current and aged inventory details to align with inventory management objectives.

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a supplier management program.

• Utilize multiple ERP systems proficiently to support daily purchasing tasks.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement or related fields.

• Proficiency with ERP systems, IQMS experience preferred.

• Willingness to travel to visit suppliers as necessary.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.

• Strong collaborative skills, able to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

• Proven ability to make sound judgment calls in fast-paced procurement environments.
