Ameriprise Financial Business Program Manager (R24_0000000167) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Business Program Manager position is embedded in the business to lead and influence the execution of RiverSource strategies and goals. Responsible for leading the delivery of multiple medium to large scope projects and marketing campaigns in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. This role completes targeted program management capabilities with the ability to lead and mentor individuals and project teams to optimally achieve their goals. Ensure that a project plan is developed and maintained to supervise deliverables and progress toward completion on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Provide support to leaders in a collaborative environment to ensure business strategy is translated into advisor and client-focused experiences that are completed on time and drive business results and meet business partner goals. Ensure familiarity with a variety of priorities and programs and assist with implementing them to successful completion. Create and support project plans through launch, communicating status to key collaborators. Ensure timelines, budgets, and commitments are met and provide exceptional communication to team members, leaders, and collaborators through the process. Ensure that meeting agendas facilitate actionable discussions in project meetings with core team and multiple levels of leaders and follow up with appropriate information and outcomes from meetings. Understand how initiatives tie together across multiple projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience in leading medium- to large-scale projects to successful completion and implementation. Effective at building relationships; highly effective communication skills that include ability to articulate information to a broad audience. Extremely organized and able to effectively prioritize. Ability to identify and develop mitigation alternatives to issues or risks associated with assigned projects. Demonstrated capability in standard office and project management applications (Microsoft Office).
