Job Description

An employer is looking for a Jr. Systems Engineer position to join a team of engineers who all work to integrate best practices and innovative solutions within data center infrastructure and cloud computing. The Systems Engineer is responsible for projects, operational support, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and expansion of the foundational computer and public cloud infrastructure. This position will also provide support for all Windows-based end-user experiences from the initial account provision requests, access permissions, equipment cycle changes and/or any encountered issues through to system deprovisioning and additional processing. The user environment is 24x7 and the candidate must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Skills and Requirements

* 3-5 years of service desk or technical support experience

• 1+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer

* Self-motivated to identify issues and develop appropriate resolution

* A desire to learn and the ability to stay knowledgeable in new and changing technology

* Ability to effectively and accurately communicate both written and verbally

* Ability to communicate professionally by telephone, correspondence, and in person

* Ability to work well with others in a standard office environment

* Ability to stay focused and remain composed during peak periods & when dealing with challenging situations

* Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

* Ability to lift up to and including 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

* Ability to crawl, kneel, stoop, and work in tight spaces Experience in Networking null
