Description

Robert Half is seeking a talented and analytical Systems Analyst to join our growing IT team! In this pivotal role, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders across departments to identify inefficiencies, analyze system requirements, design and implement effective solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

• Partner with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and user research to gather detailed business requirements.

• Analyze requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility.

• Document requirements using user stories, use cases, and data flow diagrams.

Solution Design & Development:

• Work with developers and IT teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet business needs.

• Select and recommend appropriate technologies based on functionality and feasibility.

• Create system design documents and technical specifications.

• May participate in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.

Project Management & Testing:

• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed within budget, scope, and timeline.

• Develop and manage project plans and timelines.

• Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Track and manage project risks and issues.

Training & Support:

• Develop and deliver training materials and end-user documentation for new systems.

• Provide ongoing support to users after system implementation.

Staying Current:

• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices in systems analysis.

• Continuously learn and develop new skills to stay relevant in the IT field.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 2-4 years of experience in systems analysis or a related role.

• Strong understanding of systems analysis methodologies (SDLC, Agile, Waterfall).

• Experience with business process modeling and analysis tools.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on finding efficient solutions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
