Job Description:

Contract Manager/ Sr Contract Analyst

  • Responsible for leading the contract analysis, negotiation, execution and life-cycle management of complex civil and military contracts for manufacturing business within the aerospace supply chain

  • Consistently applies commercial knowledge and acumen for process improvement/implementation and improving the commercial capabilities of a business.

  • Applies working knowledge of Trade/export compliance regulations and experience of US Government contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR)

  • Manage the full life cycle of commercial contracts with customers and work to ensure that strong long-term contract financial performance is achieved in line with expectations.

Breakdown:

  • Analyze/Negotiate (bids, sales, etc.) - 30%

  • Compliance - 30%

  • Contract Management - 30%

  • Functional Improvement (tools and processes) - 10%

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree

  • Additional/Further Education – Law certificates (LLB)

  • Working Knowledge of Trade/Export compliance regulations

  • Experience with US Government contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR)

  • Experience working within OE (original equipment) Manufacturing and Aerospace industry segments

Soft Skills:

  • Needs to be able to work on-site, Monday -Thursday ,4X10s, with occasional overtime on Fridays

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – both internally and externally

  • Attention to detail

  • Organized multi-tasker
