BAE Systems Counterintelligence Officer II in McLean, Virginia
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking Counterintelligence (CI) Officers to support a client s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The position requires an active Security Clearance with Polygraph. There is no exception to the clearance requirement.
Successful CI Officer Candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, report writing, operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. CI Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately and clearly while working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates should be comfortable with drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys
Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT
Understanding of offensive and defensive counter-intelligence methods
Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis including insider threat detection
Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment
For candidates who lack a college degree, they may substitute eight (8) years of relevant experience.
At least two (2) years of the overall experience must be in the customer spaces
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases to craft targeting packages
Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
Formal CI training and/or certifications
Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
Foreign languages skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
