Develop and deliver K-12 program content and materials, both virtually and in person. Facilitate programs for K-12 students and teachers, and outreach events and activities for learners of all ages. Ensure that participants are served, and program results are documented and shared. Coordinate student visits and generate reports.Assist with development, coordination, and delivery of Educator Professional Development programs.Develop and conduct educational outreach activities within the local community.Conduct and assist with the implementation of programs for public and private groups. Provide customer service and educational information to visitors of the Observatory and assist with community activities, special projects, events, and programs on and off-site. Assist in routine maintenance of telescope equipment, domes, and galleries. Assist with maintaining exhibits in the Visitors Center.Participate in a cross-functional team and work cooperatively with other staff members toward the completion of tasks and projects. Greet and assist visitors. Assist with responding to reservation questions. Assist with the Gift Shop when needed. Perform janitorial duties and other related duties to meet business needs.
