Insight Global Remote (EST) Service Desk Analyst in Mc Lean, Virginia

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Service Desk Analyst for one of our clients who is in the field of education management. Our client is a growing leader in the education space, operating schools and educational programs around the world that span the life of a student from early learning to higher education. This position will be fully remote six-month contract (with potential to extend) and work from 8am-4pm EST.

You will be joining a team of about 15 individuals. In this role you will be in a call center environment fielding anywhere from 50-75 calls per day. The calls you will be handling are from teachers, students, principles, heads of schools, and other personnel in a school setting. You will act as the primary point of contact and support for each of these individuals. About 40% of the time these calls will require a password reset, 30% of the calls will require a little more technical knowledge and support, and 30% of the calls will require an escalation point of contact. We are looking for people who have a high level of emotional intelligence, understanding that empathy and patience will be at the forefront of each conversation you have. We are seeking customer service-oriented individuals who have experience working in a call center.

Skills and Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working in a call center environment

  • Experience working with a ticketing system or CRM to track tickets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Experience providing over the phone support for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace

  • High level of emotional intelligence - Experience with Zendesk

  • Experience working for an education organization null
