Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering and Technical Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to put your coordination expertise to work on complex, municipal streets and roadway projects. In this role you will be responsible for overall coordination and support for our team of project managers and senior managers, Area and Program Directors in the efficient management of projects and our clients. Parsons’ extensive experience in this field, combined with your experience coordinating civil infrastructure projects through all phases of project inception, programming, design, and close-out will propel your career and leadership opportunities forward. We need our team to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, rapidly evolving team-oriented environments that have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supports our Senior Managers, Project Managers and/or Project Leads in the delivery of projects including the development, monitoring, and control of the scope, budget, and schedule and project execution

  • Supports our Senior Managers, Project Managers and/or Project Leads with the coordination of consultants and contractors as well as regular review of their performance and prepares reports

  • Supports the project team to ensure projects are being delivered safely, and to the approved quality, time and cost targets

  • Gathers, tracks, and prepares information for analysis and/or reporting. Proven working experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, as well as Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam Revu is an asset

  • Assists with the implementation of Health and Safety procedures in the workplace, as well as conducts other office administration duties, including internal discipline/departments coordination, preparing plans, reports and analysis ofe data and information for projects (AI experience preferred but not mandatory) and for project management, administration and coordination as required

  • Extensive applicable knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel,OutlookandSharePoint), G-Suit, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD Drafting and GIS (desirable)

  • Advancedawarenessofethicalcodeofconduct,projectmanagement, workplace health safety(WHMIS),and familiarity with AODA compliance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Pro-active, detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful with efficient time management skills

  • Familiarity with Contract Laws, Zoning By-laws, and Municipal Planning Acts and local knowledge of Municipalities in the Greater Toronto Region
