Job Description

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our organization's operations. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, networking, and cloud technologies to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems environment.

Responsibilities:

 · Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.

 · Implement and manage cloud-based services and solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support business operations and applications.

 · Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources for maximum efficiency and uptime.

 · Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure connectivity and security.

 · Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data and ensure business continuity.

 · Conduct security assessments and implement security best practices to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

 · Collaborate with software developers and application teams to deploy and integrate new systems and applications.

 · Develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

 · Provide technical support and assistance to end users and IT support teams as needed.

 · Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in systems engineering and IT infrastructure management.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

 · Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role.

 · Strong proficiency in systems administration, including Windows and Linux server environments.

 · Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.

 · Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

 · Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

 · Experience with firewall and security technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks).

 · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 · Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

 · Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, Azure Administration are a plus. null
