POSITION: Special Education Teacher

LOCATION: Chateaugay Central School

DESCRIPTION:

Serve students with severe and /or multiple disabilities

Develop student abilities to perform at maximum level of independence in community setting

Be involved in the development and implementation of individual education plans for students in the program

Provide a structured and secure classroom environment for the students in the program

Record and report student progress

QUALIFICATIONS:

NYS Certification in Special Education

Knowledge of NYS Learning and NYSAA

Knowledge of Curriculum and effective instructional strategies

Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the team

STARTING DATE: 2024-2025 school year

SALARY: $53,032 (2024-25 Base Salary) - Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience
