JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Come join our team in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (OAR) within the Division of Enrollment Management at UW-Madison! We are admissions professionals dedicated to recruiting, admitting, and enrolling the next generation of UW-Madison undergraduates. To support this commitment, OAR seeks a Senior Manager for Multicultural Recruitment to coordinate and support institutional efforts to grow undergraduate applications from students with historically underrepresented backgrounds, including students of color, low-income, first-generation, and students from rural backgrounds in Wisconsin and across the country. The manager works to increase the visibility of UW-Madison in multicultural communities through the development and implementation of programs and supervising two to three Recruitment Coordinators. Initiates, develops, and implements operational services that support a defined project, program, work unit, or function to advance program goals and objectives. May supervise staff and/or approve unit expenditures. 35% Plans, implements, executes, and evaluates existing strategies and objectives for a program and makes recommendations to unit leadership for program or function enhancement 20% Identifies workflow needs, contributes to the development of strategic and operational solutions, allocates resources, and implements new or revised unit operational policies and procedures 10% May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees 10% Schedules logistics and secures resources for program activities across multiple work units to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications 5% Leads the development and preparation of periodic reports and financial...
