JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This position will serve as an Outreach Specialist for the Wisconsin Cancer Collaborative (WCC) at the UW Carbone Cancer Center. The WCC is the state\'s comprehensive cancer control program and statewide coalition of organizations working together to reduce the burden of cancer for everyone in Wisconsin. The WCC brings together statewide partners that address the whole continuum of cancer control in Wisconsin including prevention, screening, treatment, survivorship and palliative care and priority cross-cutting issues, including health disparities and policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) changes. Working in this team of dynamic and committed colleagues, this position will support the implementation of outreach programs and PSE changes, which will include strengthening partnerships, especially with healthcare systems and community clinics. Responsibilities: Delivers and assists with planning outreach program activities, strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences.
