Position Overview The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the PreventionGenetics sales team and promoting and instilling a sales culture that achieves revenue goals. The individual in this role must have in-depth knowledge of PreventionGenetics\' products and services in order to understand and identify what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. The Director of Sales is also responsible for developing and maintaining a training program and training new employees according to the program as well as assisting in developing procedures for sales trip planning, CRM protocols, and policies and procedures. This position can be remote. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain professional, genetic, and technical knowledge of PreventionGenetics products, policies, and procedures. Train, mentor and coach outside sales team members. This includes training new sales representatives on protocols and company sales culture. Guide sales team with utilizing appropriate sales techniques to achieve revenue goals. Remove obstacles and roadblocks to selling company\'s products and services. Provide on-the-ground support for and leadership to sales teams as they generate leads and build relationships. Create strong relationships with internal stakeholders in order to appropriately escalate and incorporate sales needs into company initiatives and procedures. Participate in the implementation and support of company strategies and initiatives. Interview candidates for sales positions and provide feedback. Share feedback and quarterly scorecards on sales team\'s activities and performance in relation to established goals. Partnering with other key stakeholders, ensure an effective CRM system and reporting capabilities that enable the sales team to carry out their sales plans and meet revenue goals.
