JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Chief Engagement Officer will provide leadership for outreach and engagement at the Chazen Museum of Art. The Outreach and Engagement section includes public programs and education, marketing and communications, campus and community outreach, and the visitor services program. The position will create and uphold a visitor-focused and inclusive approach to museum outreach, collaborating closely across the museum to fulfill its mission as a teaching and learning institution. The Chief Engagement Officer also oversees strategic budget development and monitoring for the section. This individual will supervise approximately four individuals, representing a team of approximately 15 employees. They will play a critical role in supporting employee development and a positive work culture, while upholding high standards for team performance. The Chief Engagement Officer will report to the Chazen Museum Director but may report to the Chief Operating Officer on an interim basis. This individual will be a key member of the museum leadership team, which includes the Director, Chief of Staff, Chief Curator, and Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities: Directs development, supervision, and delivery of quality outreach programs. Establishes and facilitates strategic partnerships to support the growth and execution of programs.
