Description

Robert Half is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with a networking focus for one of our West LA clients. If you are a motivated problem solver and passionate about establishing and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, you could succeed in this role. You will support the business by developing, administering and maintaining the network infrastructure, making sure that the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently.

What you get to do every single day

• Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades

• Controlling the operation of services related to all local area networks and wide area networks, while adhering to company policies and procedures

• Troubleshooting and fixing local area networks / wide area network problems, including performance, connectivity and related issues

• Providing control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam

-Work collaboratively to integrate various business applications into the system

Requirements

Top Requirements

• Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations

• Previous experience with production and on-call environments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server

• ASA Firewall experience desired

• Proven knowledge of Active Directory

• Well-founded grasp of PowerShell

• Networking experience preferred

• Microsoft Office 365 experience highly desired

• Command of Business Application

• General familiarity with Switch Routers

• 5+ years experience related to the job

• Skilled in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
