Accenture Digital Platform Architecture Principal in Los Angeles, California

Digital Platform Architecture Principal (Accenture LLP; Los Angeles, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Digital Platform Architecture Principal in Los Angeles, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Participate in the overall strategy, analysis, design and implementation of clients’ initiatives.

  • Develop and communicate the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team.

  • Lead technical teams through the design and development of complex transactional systems.

  • Lead large-scale eCommerce implementations, providing both oversight and hands-on contributions to the software design, development, and integration.

  • Independently lead the estimation effort for projects.

  • Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architectures.

  • Design, develop, and maintain application architectures that support client’s business requirements.

  • Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems.

  • Optimize application performance and scalability.

  • Assist Project Leadership to conduct project risk identification and mitigation planning.

  • Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits by assisting with RFP responses, architecture assessments, and technical qualifications.

  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Developing applications using CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks, including React and Vue;

  • Developing headless and composable commerce solutions on SaaS-based commerce solutions including Shopify, BigCommerce, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC);

  • Validating client technical and experience requirements for implementation approach and feasibility; and

  • Integration of third-party tools including reviews, subscriptions, search, and payment providers, to consumer-facing commerce experiences.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Developing applications following the Agile methodology, including defining and implementing project coding standards, and performing thorough code reviews to uphold strict adherence to these standards;

  • Utilizing Node.js, MongoDB, Next.js, Nuxt.js, Gatsby, SQLAlchemy, Redis, Amazon ECS or Kubernetes, API Gateway and Lambda, and Heroku; and

  • Developing infrastructure as code using Serverless CLI and Terraform.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Pursuant to the California Transparency Bill, the offered wage for this role is $177,029.00 per year.
