JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Trader’s and Scheduler’s Workbench (TSW) Technical Specialist will play a critical role in managing the logistics and execution of the clients Raw Material and Finished Goods products. This includes managing the planning, scheduling, and optimizing the movement of the clients products across different supply chain channels. This includes, but is not limited to barge, rail, and Vessel, transportation for both customer shipments and distribution network internal movements(STO’s).

This role includes:

1.Business Process Knowledge:

• A strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes is necessary to effectively implement SAP TSW. This includes knowledge of inventory management, transportation planning, scheduling, and execution processes.

2.Configuration and Customization:

• Customizing TSW Settings: Configure TSW-specific parameters, profiles, and control data to align with business requirements.

• Master Data Maintenance: Maintain TSW master data, including product definitions, locations, carriers, and transportation modes.

3.System Administration:

• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize TSW-related processes.

4.Integration distribution

• Integration Points: Configure integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, WM, TM) and external systems

• Debugging and Logs: Use debugging tools and analyze logs to troubleshoot problems.

• EDI/XML: Manage B2B message outputs and assist with data mapping and logic to support EDI messages. Experience with SAP’s data dictionary and data migration tools and techniques is important for transferring database data from SAP TSW to EDI. This includes mapping data fields, cleansing data, and ensuring data accuracy during the mapping process.

5.Enhancements and Upgrades:

• Enhancement Framework: Experience authoring techno/functional design documents used to develop enhancements using user exits, BAdIs. Proficiency in ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is helpful for developing custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements specific to SAP TSW. Knowledge of SAP's data dictionary and debugging tools can also be beneficial.

• Patch and Version Upgrades: Participate in system upgrades and apply relevant TSW patches, including regression test cycles.
