A technical and solutions senior security program manager that operates across all levels of the company and can drive strategic security initiatives to mature our enterprise security programs. A technical lead responsible for leading agile cross-functional team of Systems and SW Engineers, Security Engineers, Test Engineers, Operations, etc. from initial concept to deployment. This includes capturing and defining security requirements, coordinating, and implementing security measures, utilizing security tools, and generating reports to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of assets, information and resources that aligns with business objectives.

Meets complex program goals for performance, quality goals, regulatory compliance requirements, cost, schedule and budget.

This position will be a Hybrid position. You must be in the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage initiatives across several security domains such as asset & vulnerability managements, data protection, cloud security, and governance, risk & compliance programs etc.

  • Strong CyberSecurity experience needed.

  • Help to define and implement information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedure documents to protect Zebra's assets, information, and resources. Monitor and ensure compliance with Zebra's security policies.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure security measures align with business goals and compliance requirements.

  • Communicate objectives, status, KPIs, risks, and impact to all levels of stakeholders including executive leadership team, with the ability to simplify security concepts.

  • Design and generate periodic security reports (not limited to data from internal security tools) to provide insights into the Zebra's security status, trends, and areas for improvement.

  • Drive adoption of security requirements inclusive of concept definition, requirements validation, architecture specification, and governance compliance to our Application Lifecycle Management framework.

  • Drives cross-functional change in support of security-related process improvements including planning and launches.

  • Create and refine processes when necessary, with a focus on automation and scaling; lead development efforts that enhance quality of security related programs.

  • Provide expert advice and consultancy by serving as the primary point of contact for questions and escalations related to security programs.

  • Ability to translate customer problems into solution requirements.

  • Team leadership for scaled Agile cross-functional innovation teams. Contribute to and promote the development of agile skillset and capabilities within Zebra.

  • Execute multiple limited scope projects simultaneously or a large program across multiple time zones with senior manager’s guidance utilizing modern project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.

  • Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.

  • Organize and lead scrum teams as an agile scrum master (SM) or a release train engineer (RTE)

  • Leads system integration planning, release management, and planning for demonstrations, proof of concepts and pilots.

  • Leads creating cross functional workstreams and driving execution for sales enablement, development, and deployment.

  • Independently building relationships and working across all relevant areas of the solution business including Sales, Services, IT, Security, Finance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support.

  • Works independently with business in defining proof of value and customer’s return on investment.

  • Organizes and presents business, technical and program reviews/status to Senior Leadership using digital media, dashboards, and JIRA agile project management tools.

  • Independently execute to program plan and budgets for multiple, large projects. Recommend corrective actions and implement changes. Identify and mitigate risks; develop and implement risk mitigation plans. Owns ensuring alignment from key leaders of milestone achievement before moving the program forward.

  • Motivate a project team to ensure solutions are reliable and of quality, in a highly collaborative fashion.

  • Demonstrates the ability to see cross-functional impacts of decisions and project plans and execution. Balances scope, schedule, and budget considerations to adjust the project with minimal impact to the business. Understands the business objectives of the program and assumes personal accountability for success of the program against those objectives.

  • Provides assistance with coordination of deliverables and project assets to assist the project team.

  • Personally anticipates and addresses obstacles or issues that are moderate to significant in severity and escalates complex issues to management for assistance. Independently engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles or delays. Adjusts the plan per management guidelines as delays or obstacles are experienced.

  • Demonstrates intermediate understanding of development processes and product launch scope and activities.

  • Very limited supervision by management is expected in this position for complex or novel problems.

  • May coach or act as escalation point for level 1 or level 2 Program Managers

  • Supports early stage go to market activities and transition to marketing.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, CyberSecurity degree, or

    related technical BS degree, MS preferred

  • 5 years Engineering/Program management and Security

    experience in fast paced environment

  • Experience managing security programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules in On-Prem / Cloud / Hybrid environments.

  • Experience in vulnerability management, asset management, risk management, data security, access control and governance programs.

  • Experience with secure software development best practices

    including Scaled Agile, TDD and Continuous Integration; a track

    record of applying these methodologies

  • Intermediate to advanced leadership and analytical skills

  • Intermediate to advanced written and oral

    communication skills

  • Solid critical thinking and questioning skills

  • Experience leading medium cross-functional teams

  • Self-motivated, results driven, manages risks, and thrives

    in an environment of uncertainty and continuous innovation.

  • Experienced team builder, great at collaboration and

    managing resources; proven interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Cloud development and

    Software/Services development integration, as well as mobile

    application development for Android or iOS.

  • Experience working independently and as part of a team

    to solve difficult technical, quality, cost, and schedule

    challenges; well versed in risk management practices

    Preferred Certifications:

CISSP, CISM, CISA PMP, AGILE CERTIFICATIONS, SIX SIGMA

Salary: USD 104400.00 - USD 156600.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
