Job Description:
100% - Jayhawk Debate Institute Lab Leaders
Attend all lab meetings with campers.
Create an affirmative, case negative, and assigned core negative positions for campers to use.
Work with students to develop debate skills such as speaking, researching, debate theory and argumentation.
Present assigned lecture and provide supervision during lecture sessions
Escort students to and from campus (by bus or foot).
Judge practice debates and tournament debates.
Participate in all camp activities.

Work Schedule:
Full time, 40 hours/week with the possibility of overtime.

Required Qualifications:
Must be an active member of the NDT/CEDA/High School policy debate community
Must have extensive policy debate experience at high school and/or college (NDT/CEDA) level
Employee Class:

Advertised Salary Range:
$25.00 minimum

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coaching high school or college (NDT/CEDA) policy debate
Success in debate competition on the college (NDT/CEDA) level
Experience working at a debate camp
