Trustmark Proposal Assistant II in Lake Forest, Illinois

Responsible for coordinating various aspects of proposal preparation to ensure that all parts are completed and produced for submission within the set timeframe. Conduct initial review and submission of Sales Request for Proposals. Create and send proposals with rates.

Responsibilities

  • Begins to learn and apply knowledge regarding VB products.

  • Completes standard Voluntary Worksite and group proposals and rates for assigned territories.

  • Receives request, sets up case files, scrubs information for accuracy, runs necessary reports and sends to Underwriting.

  • Gathers proposals/rates documentation and any additional documentation (e.g., templates, etc.) and sends to Sales Rep., ensuring deadlines are met

  • Reviews processes, procedures and forms and identifies opportunities for improvement.

  • Manages submission activity, working with all team members to ensure submissions are completed in a timely manner.

  • Completion of all standard Voluntary Worksite and Group Proposals and Rates

  • Receipt of Request for Proposals, Log in Access, set up case files, scrub information received – send to UW

  • Case and product set-up in Client Central, updating status to proposed upon completion of proposals.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 0 – 2 years of related experience.
