Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Service Engineer to join our team in Killeen, TX

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the modernization and integration of all PM Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (PM IS&A) mission applications and infrastructure components.

  • PM Field Service Engineers (PM FSE) are responsible for the on-site configuration and initial setup of hardware and software, data-transfer and backup processes for fielded systems critical to unit infrastructure.

  • Analyze and comprehend current system functionality and security requirements to identify process and tool integration needs, system dependencies, integration points, system interfaces, and data flows.

  • Lead and conduct root-cause analysis and network troubleshooting issues to resolve issues encountered in the field documenting solutions to ensure accurate fielding and training material. Execute over-the-shoulder, on the job, and classroom-based training of FSEs, tactical units and military maintainer personnel.

  • This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of position-relevant work experience

  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II

  • 5+ years of experience with large system-of-system (SoS) integration

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Red Hat Linux, PUPPET, VMware, ESXi, NetApp

  • Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise and system-of-systems environment.

  • TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with fielding of PM IS&A (formerly DCGS-A) INC1 software to Army units

  • Experience as an Army system maintainer

  • Experience with intelligence community applications

  • Experience with Active Directory Administration

  • Experience with JBOSS services

  • Experience with Army systems accreditation

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers and senior government officials

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate

  • CISSP, CEH, or Java Certification

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
