Position Title Adjunct Faculty - Social Science - History

FLSA Exempt

Full Time/Part Time Part Time

Salary PTEA

Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - not to exceed 19 hours per week

Summary of Position

To instruct in-person lecture History classes, as scheduled on our central campus, and assist students toward a successful completion in their courses and programs.

Minimum Required Education

Master’s Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education, with 18 graduate hours in History is required. Programs should be from a research based university. In addition, graduate coursework must align with History courses listed in the CTC college catalog

Minimum Required Experience

Prefer college level teaching experience in history.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills.

  • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office;

  • Ability to manage emails including sending/receiving items with attachments.

  • Ability to download and install software,
