PEx is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Vision Planning, developing capabilities (People, Process, Technology, Metrics) and ensuring effective deployment of these within the business to drive continuous improvement and improve efficiency, effectiveness, optimizing working capital while keeping our customer’s needs central to what we do. The team will also be focused on new advanced technology-based capabilities as well as leading cultural change to drive significant improvement across all the business units and regions.

The Data Manager will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the Subject Matter Expert on SAP and OMP planning data to drive best-in-class data governance, processes and accuracy. Lead and drive change management for continuous improvement in data strategies.

  • Leading reviews with the Plan teams to ensure master data integrity and end-to-end planning signal accuracy.

  • Having a deep understanding of data rules, how they drive planning signals as well as system performance.

  • Owning data maintenance tools and templates for timely data collection and entry for new product and existing materials.

  • Partner with business to lead and/or develop tools for automating data calculations and analyses to streamline parameter reviews and updates.

  • Ensuring all data in the ERP and planning systems are aligned with enterprise process decomposition standards and updating guides as required based on business process changes.

  • Supporting investigations of planning signal issues potentially driven by master data or planning parameter settings.

  • Data mining, transformation and visualization for large datasets to deliver insights to cross-functional partners at all levels.

  • Translating business needs and into technical requirements, working within the PEx team and/or with IT to deliver effective solutions.

  • Managing and maintaining plan master data to ensure consistency across systems for quality and compliance.

  • Identifying, developing, and deploying opportunities for planning improvements centered around data processes in partnership with Plan and IT teams.

  • Ensuring Plan data work instructions and the Data Quality Testing library are updated as needed for data and process changes.

  • May involve managing contactor resources for execution of various daily data tasks.

Key Relationships:

This position will work closely with various Supply Chain stakeholders including but not limited to

  • Planners, JJT, Data Operations, Vision SC Partners

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Required:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning with strong systems knowledge is required.

  • Strong SQL experience is required.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP planning modules is required.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills are required.

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms is required.

  • Self-motivated and strong team management is required.

  • The ability to effectively manage timelines is required.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of OMP is highly preferred

  • A minimum of 1 year of Master Data Management related experience is preferred.

  • Relevant mix of global, regional, cross-sector / cross-industry experience is preferred.

  • Experience with Advanced Planning Systems deploys, specifically OMP technology is preferred.

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and automate using tools such Alteryx Designer and Gallery is highly preferred.

  • Tableau is preferred.

  • Experience with VBA or other programming languages is preferred.

  • Experience with RPA tools preferred.

  • An advanced degree is preferred.

  • Experience managing a team preferred.

  • APICS certification is highly preferred

  • LEAN and/or Six Sigma Certifications is highly preferred

  • Clear understanding of external Supply Chain trends and emerging best practices. Strong influencing role in shaping the journey for future of PLAN is preferred.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
