The position is for both a D365 Field Service Functional Consultant/Business Analyst to support the solution verification, implementation, UAT and deployment of a new platform and associated integrations and applications.

The D365 Field Service Functional Consultant/Business Analyst's role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. The Business Analyst will also proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions.

The purpose of this role is to utilize best practices and methodologies to design, configure, implement, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Field Service. The consultant may also assist with the configuration of D365 Business Central. Duties may include business requirements gathering, design/configuration, testing, quality assurance, training, and support.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science (preferred) or related field or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or Field Service (Microsoft CRM or CE) experience with a base understanding of the entity and Object Model with a consulting background

• Must have a solid understanding of software implementation life cycle, project management, business process management, requirements definition, functional design, quality management, and change management

• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development

• Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language

• Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with the ability to them to systems issues and products as required

• Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts

• Experience writing queries (SQL or other)

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or Power Platform

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutions

Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision

• Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes, as well as their characteristics

• Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods

• Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics

• Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements

Application Support

• Work with the relevant stakeholders and take ownership of the incidents

• Working directly with end users in a support capacity

• Become a Product Specialist, learning the functionality 'inside and out'

• Problem solving and Analytical skills

• Provide feedback to the product team for improvements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all levels of the business (including technical and business audiences)

• Provides escalation support for help desk as needed

Application Deployment & Customization

• Work with team members and independently to configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE/Field Service) and key third-party products. This work would include building custom CRM entities, configuration of various CRM components (business processes, workflow), security configuration, and report writing

• Performs gap analysis from requirements gathered to solution proposed

• Completes project documentation such as: Functional Requirements Document, User Stories, User Acceptance Test Scenarios, and End User Training Documentation/Quick Reference Guides

• Documentation creating Process Flow Diagrams, Functional Design Documents, Business Requirement Documents, and gap analysis

• Configuration of CRM system, including workflows and setup

• Customizations and configurations for the Field Service (Dynamics 365) mobile app - both for online and offline scenarios

• Clear understanding of integrations with other systems or previous experience with integrations

• Utilizes Microsoft DevOps to track project tasks

• Participates in all tasks relating to feature testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing

• Performs end user training in one on one, webinar, and classroom style settings

• Works with management to keep projects on schedule and recommend needed action to meet deadlines

• Obtain and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, as applicable
