job summary:
Large utility is looking for a Associate EPC Project Manager in Jackson, MI. The Associate EPC Project Manager supports project management for electric distribution, managing small projects involving high-voltage and low-voltage lines and substations, ensuring timely completion within budget. responsibilities:
Support Project Management for Electric Distribution, focusing on small projects involving HVD and LVD lines and substations.
Plan, implement, ensure quality control, report status, and close assigned projects.
Assist in preparing plans, scheduling, and delivering standardized project management documents as part of the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP).
Aid in financial forecasting and reconcile resources and project expenditures.
Develop and manage project execution plans.
Assist in developing project schedules and communicate them to the project team.
Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and outside agencies.
Skill:
Proficiency in Project Management Institute PM knowledge areas, including Project Integration, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resource, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder Management.
strong project management skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines.
General knowledge and understanding of electric distribution lines and substations.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in engineering/business or relevant field from an accredited college or university.
0-2 years of overall relevant work experience required.
Preferred 2-4 years of overall relevant work experience.
