Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking aSystems Engineerto provide systems engineering, government acceptance, and integration insupport of the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies (RCCTO) Indirect Fires Protection Capabilities (IFPC) Project Office. This office is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's High Power Microwave (HPM) capability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support in Systems Engineer design, development, integration, and analytic support for HPM prototype development.
  • Review and define System Engineering requirements in support of mission analysis, sensor/C2 design engineering/verification, HPM system performance analysis, and follow-on HPM prototyping efforts.
  • Review and evaluate Systems Engineering specifications, development plans, designs, technical data packages, and software packages.
  • Lead the resolution of complex hardware, software, and/or integration problems within appropriate IPTs, engage with internal and external organizations, and help identify solutions that meet or exceed client requirements.
  • Interface with other government organizations and contractors to facilitate system engineering and acceptance test reviews.
  • Develop and present briefings, analyses, and reports to government customers and provide concise recommendations for course of action.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience inSystems Engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application ofSystems Engineeringto system development and requirements analysis.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a high-paced environment and operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present complex material to government customers concisely with recommended course of action.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Mechanical Aptitude - Ability to work with the OEM to evaluate solutions for Technical Insertion Points.
  • Software Aptitude - Ability to work with the OEM to evaluate the ability of software to operate effectively and protect warfighters.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with non-traditional defense contractors
  • Experience with rapid prototyping
  • Wide range of experience including ystem engineering, system testing, system fielding
  • Experience with government radar/electronic warfare test plans
  • Experience in PWS/SOW evaluation and writing

Travel:15%
