Inventory Agent

Schedule 8a-5p Monday - Friday

Location Huntsville, AL

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.

  • Maintain records of inventory issues, physicalcountsand inventory transfers

  • Work with Inventoryclerkto investigate rectify inventory counts, reorder points, and departmental issue problems.

  • Prepare and process sales orders for supplies and equipment.

  • Ensure on-time shipment of available products to departments.

  • Bill out exception orders

  • Performs Physical Counts and Inventory transfers.

  • Help tomaintainreorder points and stock level accuracy.

  • Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for whatever reason are chased and investigated until received.

  • Practice warehouse spaceutilizationand material flow improvement activities

  • Understand andutilizeFDA andOSHArules and guidelines as they pertain to inventory and purchasing.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency

  • One year of experiencerequired.

  • Maintain meticulous records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries to uphold supply chain integrity.

  • Take charge of inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency inmaintainingsupplies.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.

  • Database management skills.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Meticulous organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail.

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended time periods.

  • Ability tolift up- to 50lbs.and push up to 250 lbs.

  • Ability tomaintaina clean and organized environment.

  • General computer and math skills

  • Must be able to work well in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.

  • Must be able to work well in a team environment, as well as an individual work environment.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
