Salary: $19.54-$32.57/hr DOE $2 Shift Diff for 3rd Shift Responsibilities

Interpretation of internal and client requirements Operating complex mechanical testing equipment Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment Report writing, data interpretation and analysis

The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need : Educated to a good general standard including English and Maths Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline is advantageous Hands-on job Sound mechanical bias Previous experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous Self motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills A team player attitude Excellent analytical and problem solving skills NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. * 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
