Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a SCADA Consultant to join a team at one of our large oil and gas clients. The candidate must be local to Houston and willing to work a hybrid schedule. They will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of SCADA systems using ICONICS software. In addition to creating new systems, they also provide technical support and maintenance for existing SCADA systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Collaboration is key in this role, as they work closely with engineering teams to integrate SCADA systems with other operational technology. To ensure the systems' performance and reliability, they conduct system testing regularly. Another important aspect of their role is providing training to end-users on system operation and maintenance, empowering users to understand and use the systems effectively. Lastly, they are expected to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SCADA technology, ensuring that the systems they develop are cutting-edge and relevant.

Skills and Requirements

3+ Years experience with SCADA

2-3 Years of experience with ICS Systems

Experience supporting/working within OPC

Bachelors Degree

Oil and Gas experience null
