We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of IT Analyst within our IT Enterprise Content Management group based in Houston, Texas.

 

  • Provide functional / technical ownership of one or more Applications and Technologies within Enterprise Content Management portfolio.
  • Provide production support for a set of applications, processes, and technologies including abiding by all Incident/Request management policies and procedures.
  • Partner with our customers in solving issues, enhancing existing solutions, and/or adding new capabilities to the environment while abiding by appropriate change management policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate across IT and business functions to manage projects to successful completion
  • Manage project related to implementing and deploying ECM solution which include business requirement gathering, design, configure, test and deployment.
  • Timely resolve issues and incident related to deployed ECM application.
  • Implement and maintain (testing) third party (other non-ECM application) integration with ECM.
  • Participate and manage application testing based on patch management process, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity vulnerability mitigation.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing related to new and update custom code.
  • Provide user training and answers to how to questions.
  • Support user community in term of document search and exports.
  • Provide ECM best practices consultancy in terms on how to generate taxonomy and classification.
  • Participate in researching for new technology and solution that will enhance and provide better ECM services.
  • Provide bulk ECM operation support such as upload and metadata changes. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience as with information technology, preferrable FileNet or Enterprise Content Management practices.
  • Familiarity with Project Management principles and practices.
  • Strong technical Troubleshooting capabilities for IT application related issues including root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal).  Must be able to communicate professionally with people both inside & outside the organization, which may include business stakeholders, vendors, and business partners.
  • Ability to translate business needs into solution/technology requirements. Have good analytical, requirement gathering skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be capable of providing proper documentation and knowledge transfer - such as maintaining and providing solution documentation to other team members etc.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Very strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and conduct research into emerging content management technologies.
  • Have a basic understanding of document management concepts and lifecycle in terms of document ingestion, management, viewing and disposition.
  • Basic SQL database skills.
  • A background in basic code development is a plus.

Desired Qualification:

  • Understanding of SQL and Reporting Solutions
  • High Level familiarity with the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Carbon Management industries
