We have an exciting opportunity for a Engineering Technical Coordinator to join the team with JETS II Teammate Company, GeoControl Systems, Inc.

The Engineering Technical Coordinator will:

  • Report directly to the Division Insight Lead for the program Discipline Leads for EHP (EVA and Human Surface Mobility Program)

  • Provide support and work directly with the Discipline Leads and System Managers for the program

  • Help with new team onboarding, distribution of training material, and data access management

  • Manage shared group calendar, report on weekly meeting status and agendas, and coordinate subject matter expert participation

  • Assist with the program change management process, coordination of design document reviews, comment validation, and reclama management

  • Coordinate technical design reviews and manage associated tools and documents

  • Assist in the development of new or improved tools, processes, workflows, or plans and present new material to the group

  • Develop and maintain Smart Sheets or SharePoint tools for internal technical risk tracking

  • Develop and maintain Smart Sheets or SharePoint tools for insight team action items

  • Perform technical integration with engineering team members as part of regular business activities

  • Provide support and work directly with engineering organization to track progress against milestones, risk updates and product reviews

  • Assist engineers in conducting research, gathering data, and analyzing information to support project objectives

  • Aid in coordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets

  • Coordinate and oversee project related activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and monitoring project progress and milestones

  • Coordinate technical reviews and meetings and manage associated tools and documents

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Here’s what you’ll need :

Requisition Qualifications:

This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • Possess the ability to coordinate a wide range of technical tasks & scheduling, and create tracking products

  • Possess the ability to visualize and work with others in problem-solving as part of a team

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient with MS Office, particularly OneNote, Teams, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Requisition Preferences:

  • BS degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration

  • Project leadership/management is highly desirable

  • Experience working within an engineering team, particularly in any or all the disciplines of Materials, Stress, Fracture, Loads & Dynamics, and Mechanical Design

  • Experience utilizing Smart Sheets Tool

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
