Job Description

A large Construction and Utilities client in the Houston are is looking for a Business Analyst to join their IT Fleet Operations Team as a full-time employee. This Business Analyst is being brought on to support and optimize their state-of-the-art Fleet Management System Platforms, Verizon Connect (VZC) and Lytx Drivecam (Lytx).

This person will be responsible for understanding the operational processes and related requirements of Fleet Management as they pertain to the fleet platforms and working closely with Field/Fleet managers to resolve issues, implement new features, and ensure optimal system utilization. They will act as a primary point of contact for fleet platform related matters and be the Subject Matter Expert and liaison between the fleet platform Technical teams and Stakeholders utilizing the tool in the field.

This role will start out 5-day on site and will become hybrid 2 days on site once the individual is acclimated with the project and caught up to speed (approx. Month 2-3). This role will also require travel up to one week out of the month to their Operating Units to meet with Fleet teams.

Skills and Requirements

8-10 Years of Experience as a Business Analyst

Prior Experience with Cloud Systems (Telematics is a plus Verizon Connect, Lytx, and/or Geotab)

IT background around platforms/systems

Strong Ability to translate Business and Operational requirements into technical requirements

Experience being the liaison between Non-technical Field/Operations, the Business and IT Teams

Experience working with 3 Party Vendors to ensure the business needs are being met on a technical level

Documentation and Organization Skills pertaining to Technical Documentation, Workflows, and Process Mapping Fleet Operations Experience

IT experience related to Operations null
