Robert Half Voice Analyst in Holland, Ohio

Description We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and will primarily involve working remotely to provide technical support for our voice services platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in VoIP systems and will be responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems as part of our Network Operations Center team.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary escalation point for field agents with VoIP related dispatches and trouble tickets. • Continually monitor network devices, interfaces, and trouble tickets, providing continuous surveillance for issues impacting our customers' voice services. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our voice services and update call paths. • Liaise with carriers and vendors to open new trouble tickets, schedule dispatches, and stay up to date on existing trouble tickets. • Handle incoming calls and respond to emails regarding service troubles or call path changes in a timely and detail oriented manner. • Coordinate the proper installation and configuration of voice service components. • Maintain active communication with our customers, on-site technicians, carrier service providers, and our Technical Support Engineers and VoIP Engineers. • Ensure all tickets and jobs are handled quickly and accurately from start to finish. • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain VoIP systems. • Work well in a team-oriented environment, successfully completing individual tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Telecommunications Specialist role or similar position

• Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over Internet (VoIP)

• Familiarity with Voice over internet protocol (VoIP)

• Experience with VoIP and VOIP - Voice Over IP systems

• Knowledge of IP Telephony and Telephony Systems

• Ability to work in a Network Operation Center

• Basic troubleshooting skills

• Familiarity with ISDN and SIP

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience in resolving customer service issues
