ManTech Management Analyst Intern in Herndon, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Management Analyst Intern to

join our team working remotely.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to various projects and initiatives

  • Works with Resource Management personnel to support posting requisitions to Workday and the Subcontractor Staffing Portal

  • Reviewing new resumes and sending them to hiring managers for review

  • Support follow-up activity to ensure candidate feedback is provided in a timely manner

  • Scheduling interviews at the request of the hiring manager.

  • For all new hires (both Subcontractor and ManTech), the Management Analyst Intern will observe and assist with the onboarding process, inclusive of:

  • adding new hires to all Data Services related communication channels, mailboxes, and shared sites

  • ordering IT Assets and equipment Bundles

  • coordinating the New Hire First Day instructions and all “Welcome” communication

  • ensuring the return New Hire Signed Documents (NDAs, etc).

  • If a subcontractor, the citizenship verification in collaboration with the Program Personnel Security Officer

  • If a subcontractor, setting up Contingent Worker Accounts

  • Maintain the Program Organizational Chart based on new hires, organizational updates, and contractor exits and disseminate to appropriate parties

  • Maintains all other related Resource Management Documentation, and updates accordingly.

  • Support coordination activities to support schedule and project management for a Cybersecurity project.

  • Help develop and update routine reporting documentation, including weekly and monthly deliverables leveraging best practices and project templates

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, creative problem-solving, written, and verbal communications skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a bias for action

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Suite of tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, Power BI

  • Other beneficial tools experience: Adobe, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, Tableau

  • Some proficiency in creating dashboard reports within Excel

  • Basic experience creating data models with calculated fields linking to separate data tables

  • Rudimentary experience in crafting intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Excel, PowerBI, or a similar tool

  • Experience using VBA to generate automated reports within Excel, data entry User Forms, and macros to manipulate/transform data

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability; not needed to start

  • Candidate is required to be a US Citizen (non-dual citizenship) with the ability to obtain DHS Suitability.

Physical Requirements:

Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.

The projected compensation range for this position is $39,700-$65,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
