Aerotek 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technician in Hayward, California

Looking for 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technicians

Will be required to train on the day shift(M-F) before switching to the 3rd shift (4/10 schedule)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician for our graveyard shift who is eager to grow and take on new challenges. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, controlling, and monitoring heat treating furnaces and related equipment. Other responsibilities may include preparing customer-supplied parts for processing, following written procedures on shop orders and/or customer paperwork, loading and unloading furnaces, bins, baskets, fixtures, etc., and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth, with the potential to train and ultimately become a shift supervisor based on performance and leadership qualities.

Hard Skills (Must Haves)

  • Manufacturing Industry experience

  • Machine Operator, Maintenance, or Mechanical Assembly experience required

  • Forklift experience

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Potential for early conversion depending on attendance/ performance.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hayward, California.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role frequently involves exposure to heat, dust, noise, humidity & fumes.

Shift Information

  • The 3rd shift runs from 8pm – 6am, Mon – Thurs, with 2 paid 30-minute lunch breaks.

  • Initial training will occur during the day shift for approximately 6-8 weeks (approx. 8am – 4:30 pm Mon – Fri) before transitioning to the permanent graveyard shift.

  • MUST BE AVAILIBLE TO TRAIN ON THE DAY SHIFT.

  • Occasional coverage for the 2nd shift may be required.

  • We offer competitive pay, including regular pay for 8 hours and overtime pay for 2 hours, along with paid meal breaks.
