DESCRIPTION OF WORK As CTO for CETSO, this Information Technology Executive 3 position is responsible for planning, directing, evaluating, and controlling the technology and operations of staff engaged in compute, network/telephony, database management, and systems management. The CTO's role is to align the technology use within the office to the vision, strategy, and roadmap established by the Commonwealth's Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer. The position oversees all information technology systems in the CETSO grouping - from the simplest, to the most complex - including all interfaces and exchanges required to deliver a successful solution to the agency customer. Work performed by the CTO has broad operational and administrative impact upon services and programs. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Eight years of professional information technology experience and a bachelor's degree; or Twelve years of professional information technology experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
