Job Description

An Employer at Langley Air Force Base is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their team and work in a hybrid environment. This role will be working to architect, design, improve, and address wide-ranging platform requirements for a client supporting work for the Air Force. This person will be maintaining production grade Kubernetes clusters with multiple teams using the clusters for development. They will building production services with cloud infrastructure in AWS.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of hands on experience with Kubernetes - maintaining production grade Kubernetes clusters

4-5 years experience with AWS - expert in setting up AWS environment and deploying kubernetes

3 years' experience in identity and access lifecycle management operations and controls

3-5 years' experience with Java, Python, or similar

Bachelors Degree

Currently hold an Active Secret Clearance

Work in a hybrid environment - on site 3 days/ week

Ability to work/ be on call Saturday and Sundays CKAD Certification

Sec+ certification null
