We are looking for a Manager of Data Warehouse and Semantic Model Development to be a senior leader on the Data Services team which includes all data warehouse, semantics model and visualizations, database operations, and data science capabilities. This role will be the leader of our Data Warehouse and Semantic Model development teams. Your work will include, but not be limited to: Manage daily operation and expansion of the Data warehouse and semantic model. Lead a team of DW engineers and Azure Analysis Services developers in the creation and operations of a multi-tier data warehouse/Semantic models Develop DW and Azure Analysis Services solutions to address current and future information system needs, and create process improvements and controls for defined solutions Work with data SME's and data architects to create end user friendly data models to support self service and data science use cases. Works closely with customers and colleagues to identify opportunities to utilize information systems to improve business processes, promote the strategic use of information while enabling seamless access to information. Interacts with the staff to produce data mapping and requirements, deliver high quality solutions utilizing Microsoft BI tools. Provides prototyping solutions, prepares test scripts, and conducts tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling. Possesses working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (DBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools. Be proficient in creating and maintain SQL data structures and store procedures. Works closely with the technical and business team lead to drive solution options analysis, development and implementation of BI solutions. Contributing team member to the design and support of data architecture, database design and integration, transformations, and load processes. The qualifications. 7+ years managing the operations and building Data Warehouses on an Azure SQL platform including project management, resource assignment, architectural design. 2+ years managing and developing in Azure Analysis Services or SSAS 3-5 years' experience using the Microsoft Azure Data integration tools including SSIS/IR, ADF and ADO Have direct responsibility for leading a team of developers to design and build BI solutions for Power BI or other reporting tools. At least 3 + years of team leadership experience in Data Warehouse/BI data environment Extensive experience creating data models and translating into a DW design and Analysis Services model to support analytical requirements.
