Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs diagnostic procedures in the field of radiology including x-ray fluoroscopy and Surgical procedures in a hospital setting. Position could also float to cover outpatient areas.
Knowledge of: Anatomy and physiology (to include cross sectional when required). Medical terminology related to radiology. Principles of operation and care of radiological and diagnostic imaging equipment including C-arm. Practical knowledge of currently accepted radiological procedures. Radiation safety requirements and practices for the operator, patient and public. Image processing systems. Mechanical and electrical safety practices and requirements in the patient examination environment. This position is hospital based for inpatient and emergency room support as well as outpatient locations.

Qualifications
Required:
Current BLS Healthcare Provider
Current California license as a certified Radiological Technologist
Current ARRT registration (CT CPRBLS;CT RTTF;CT ARRT;CT CRT)
California fluoroscopic permit eligible
Preferred:
- 1 year of hospital experience
Pay Range
$52.63 - $64.04/hour
